Hey everyone, before I say anything, keep in mind this is a rant due to the bad experience I've had with the Dell XPS 9560 over the past month.

I ordered the Dell XPS 9560 a month ago, and my experience with it and Dell has been nothing short of terrible, which is surprising, considering I'm using one of their desktops as my main workstation PC and I never had such a terrible experience with it, and everything was mostly fine.
When the Dell XPS 9560 arrived, it was well-designed, the keyboard felt pretty good to type on, and I was a fan of how the backlight turned off when not in use. That's as far as the pros go. For a laptop I paid nearly $3000 for, I'd expect it to come in working condition, and functioning as it should. Instead, issue after issue popped up. First of all, the Wifi issue. Killer Wireless's card is absolutely terrible, and I can't EVER keep a stable speed without it dropping to 0 KB/s for 5 minutes or so. Contacted Dell Support, another terrible experience, they blamed it on the driver, said it wasn't a hardware problem, asked me to wait for an update which didn't fix it, said they could do nothing till another update came out despite me insisting that they could change it to an Intel card. Oh, and they told me a solution, it doesn't occur when using an ethernet cable, and coincidentally enough, the laptop doesn't have an ethernet port! A laptop, in 2017, with no ethernet port! This came off as a surprise to me, and I'm aware you can use a adapter for an ethernet cable, but that costs a lot of money, and as I said I had expected the laptop to come in working condition, considering the price I paid.
After that, I tried to use the laptop but it just run sluggish overall. Browsers took a minute if not more to load, most programs wouldn't respond for a minute or so as well upon use, and the overall performance of the computer was nothing but extremely slow. I had expected much better, considering my laptop from 2013 performs better, and it has way worse specs. The laptop ran games worse than expected, even just browsing the web or doing work it ran slow and sluggish. It felt like I was running a computer using Windows XP!

TL;DR Dell XPS 9560 looks great, but on the inside it's a terrible mess, which no one should purchase. You're better off getting a Mac with lower specs for the same price because coming from personal experience it actually works out of the box as it was advertised.
Before purchasing it, I read reviews and whatnot of the laptop, and it was (surprisingly) well-received, people calling it one of the best slim with moderate performance laptops. Yet, when I got it, not only was it not one of the best, it barely functioned. I don't get why this laptop is getting so well-received, it's a ripoff that should be rated 3/10 at best, because it doesn't even work. It has a nice design, but that's about it.
